Some people divorce quickly and amicably. For others, divorce is the worst crisis they have ever faced. Their whole life turns upside down. Their future and the future of their children become uncertain. A divorce can stretch family finances to the limit and wreak havoc on your emotional life. If you are divorcing or considering divorce, you need an experienced advocate on your side. At the law office of David W. Moran, I can help you. Call today for a free consultation.

For the past 25 years, I have practiced family law almost exclusively. I have been in court all over the North Shore. I know who the judges are and they know me. I understand the ins and outs of Massachusetts family law better than most. The judges know this—they have appointed me as a conciliator. When I’m not helping my own clients, I help divorcing couples settle so they won’t have to go to trial.

Divorces can be contested or uncontested. I’ve handled both. I’ve also helped clients with custody disputes, visitation, child support, spousal support and mediation. If you’re already divorced, but need to modify the agreement, I can assist you. If you are adopting, I can guide you through the process so that you can become a family.

Sometimes, when someone writes a will, things don’t always go as planned. Administering an estate can be stressful.  You have to make major financial decisions while mourning the death of a loved one. Let me use my perception and understanding of the court system to expedite the probate process and look after your interests.
