Firm Overview

divorce lawyer is more than just a lawyer. He or she has to be a bit of a psychologist, too. Before I became an attorney, I was a state police officer, teacher and a graduate student in economics. I believe that my background prepared me very well for handling complex emotional and financial issues. At the office of David W. Moran I represent clients in every stage of divorce, from the initial complaint to post-decree modification. If you are in a divorce, or are considering one, call me today for a free consultation.

When a couple is in the middle of a divorce they often experience instability and emotional pain. Their finances are uncertain and they worry about their children. I’ve been an attorney for 25 years. Divorce has always been the main focus of my practice. I am familiar with the Massachusetts courts. Judges know this and have appointed me to help them with discovery issues in divorce cases. They’ve also appointed me as a conciliator to help divorcing couples settle so that they don’t have to go to trial.

Experience is important, but not every experienced lawyer should practice family law. A family lawyer needs patience. He also needs to be non-judgmental. I am not only knowledgeable about the law, but empathetic toward my clients. I understand that divorce brings social and emotional consequences as well as legal ones. If you want a skilled advocate who cares about you, contact me.  I can help.
